Prof Ken Ho

Endocrinologist

Ken Ho is a consultant endocrinologist at St Vincent’s Public and Private Hospitals, Honorary Professor, Faculty of Health and Medicine UNSW Sydney and Emeritus Fellow at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. His speciality interests are pituitary, thyroid and adrenal diseases, and hormonal management of metabolic, physical and reproductive health.

He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Science. He graduated from the University of Sydney, received a doctorate degree from the UNSW. He was previously Chair of Endocrinology, St Vincents Hospital Sydney, and Head of Research, Metro South Health Brisbane at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He received the 2022 Outstanding Scholarly Physician Laureate Award of the US Endocrine Society, the 2000 Visiting Trust Professor and the 2008 Asia Oceania Medal of the British Endocrine Societies and the inaugural 2011 Senior Plenary Award of the Endocrine Society of Australia (ESA) of which he is a past-president and honorary life member. He is consultant to the World AntiDoping Agency.
